Hot Half Prep

This week, I am gearing up for the Queens Half Marathon on Saturday. O.M.G. It is going to be one hot race. Last week, I did a 4 mile race in Central Park, and I was happy I finished and ran the whole way without dying. It was about 90 degrees with humidity. It was only 9am.


The Queens Half starts at 7am, and I am hoping and praying that it is a rainy day. I am not going to run it with my race-race on; rather, I am choosing to look at the Queens Half as a training run for the bigger picture.
